Khris Built a Fence!

Check out the new 12 foot section of fence Khris built. Can your husband do that??? Now we can put up our new storage shed and move some things out of the garage. We need more room to get Owen in and out of the cars. Thanks to Ted, Suzan, Brian, and Roy for helping. :)

Phase 1 - Nursery

We have been working hard. We have the crib, dresser/changing table, bookshelf, new ceiling fan, bedding, and the glider all set up. Sadie has been very interested in the room set up. I think she might be getting excited to meet her brother. Now onto the closet organization and wall decor!

22 Weeks!

Whew...Its been a busy month! We've had a mix of blessings and some stressful times. Our beautiful niece Maddison Rae was born July 2nd. Here is a picture of her. She and her mommy (Khris' sister Wendy) are healthy and happy. My dad and stepmother came to visit for a week. We have also spent a lot of quality time with my sister Lindsay, James, and niece Alyssa. They stayed with us part time after their house sold. They move into a new beautiful home July 16th.

Baby Owen is growing well. He is totally healthy. However, we have had some stressful moments. Apparently I have a two vessel umbilical cord instead of the normal three vessel cord. The doctor thinks it will not cause any problems but I will be having sonograms every two weeks going forward to make sure Owen contiues to grow well. Good news is we get to see him every two weeks! I also have had kidney stones. VERY PAINFUL! Luckly I have been feeling much better for about a week and a half. Hopefully the pain will not return!

18 Weeks and Counting!

Dear Owen,

I saw you for the first time today in 4D, it was an added bonus from the regular sonogram images, although you looked wonderful in those pictures too. I can honestly tell you I was taken back by the awesome works our God is performing in your mommy's womb. As I sat holding your mommy's hand listening to your heart beat, at 148 bpm, I knew I was the most blessed man in the world to have you both in my life. I cannot wait to hold you in my arms. Although I was awestruck, I did feel a bit selfish knowing that your Grandmother Meredith was sitting in the waiting room to catch her first glace at you and I wanted to take a few extra private moments with you and your mommy. So here is your first life lesson. Sometimes you will want to keep things all to yourself and not share with others. Those things may be toys, emotions, or God's light but remember this Son, life can be so much more joyful, rewarding, & blessed when we share our possessions, feelings, and light with others.

It's a Boy!

Here are the latest pictures! I'm about 13 weeks. The doctor was able to tell us that she was 95% sure it's a boy. She said she never says anything higher than 95% just for legal reasons. Everything is looking great. Khris is so excited. I'm still having morning sickness but hopefully that will get better soon. By the way that is his hand next to his face and he has his leg up. He was doing a little morning cardio.

We are Pregnant!

Khris and I are excited to announce that we are going to be parents! The baby is due November 9th 2010. We can't wait to find out if Baby Harris is a girl or a boy! Here are some pictures from our last doctors appointment. I was about 9 weeks.
