1st Easter

April was a busy month. Khris and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on the 8th and Owen was 5 months on the same day! We realized 8 must be our lucky number. Even our dog was born on the 8th of Feburary. My dad and stepmom came to visit the weekend before Easter. Owen loved meeting them in person! Owen also loved Easter. He got 4 Easter baskets. One from Grandma Suzan, Grandpa and Grandma Summersgill, Grandma and Grandpa Burrell, and Mom and Dad. Khris also has a knee surgery on the 22nd. He is already doing much better. Hopefully, he will be back to normal in a couple weeks. Owen got 2 teeth this month. His bottom two front teeth have come through. He has also been rolling over from his stomach to his back, jumping a lot in his jumper, and he recently started trying to hold the spoon when he eats rice cereal. I can't believe he will be 6 months on Sunday!

1st St. Patricks Day!

Yes that is a 6-9 month shirt. He is growing so fast. I thought it would be too big. Owen is 4 1/2 months now. He is a very happy boy. He loves to smile. Here are some things he has been doing. Lots of laughing, eating rice cereal, sleeping through the night, and he has rolled over from his stomach to his back 3 times!

Owen has a New Cousin!

Joshua Ryan Voxland was born March 10th. He is so cute. Owen can't wait to play with him. His big sister Alyssa was really excited too.

Eye Surgery

It has been a long time since I posted last. Well since Christmas Khris had another eye surgery on Jan. 26th. It was for glaucoma. He is still trying to recover. It takes longer now since he has had so many procedures. 3 surgeries in the right eye, 3 surgeries in the left eye, several laser surgeries (we lost count), and about 21 steroid injections in the eyes. Ugh. It looks like we may have to add another surgery to the list. We will find out at the end of March. The surgery in January has caused some problems with the retina. The doctor may do a surgery where they suck out all the natural gel in the eye and fill it back up with a solution after they repair the retina. We will keep you all posted. We are greatful he has the best doctors and we are amazed at the things they can do to help Khris.

Owen's First Christmas

Owen took his first road trip to Grandma Suzan's house in Houston. He did great! We left Wednesday and came home Sunday. We made two stops both ways so Owen could eat. He slept the rest of the time. He loved all of his toys and books! Thanks for all the goodies!
